Gwendolyn Williams Jones was elected as Vice President of the Alabama Association for Gifted Children at their 16th annual conference on September 28th2012 in Birmingham Alabama. Gwendolyn’s experience with gifted children has span more than twenty years. Gwendolyn currently serves as the gifted education specialist for Collins Rhodes and Indian Springs Elementary Schools.  She has been instrumental in identifying underserved populations in the schools that she services. Her career goal is to become a national consultant for gifted education with special attention placed on the identification process of minority populations.Congratulations to Mrs. Jones as she embarks on this exciting new endeavor.
